People
Developer Standard
The People Developer Standard is a quality standard, issued by SPRING Singapore, which gives recognition to organizations that invest in their people and have a comprehensive system to manage the development of their people.
SSMC was awarded the People Developer Standards status on 19 Nov 2003 with a tally of 522, topping both the industry and national average then by 21% and 12% respectively.
Our commitment to employee development can be translated to an average of *99.6 training hours per employee a year or *6% of the company’s annual payroll.
Fully exploiting SSMC’s high-tech working environment, the adoption of a computerized Learning Administration System serves to further empower staff in taking ownership of their career and personal development.
*based on figures recorded between 1 Jan 2004 and 31 Dec 2004.
